Product :18th Century Louis XV intricate Boulle marquetted bracket clock designed in an hourglass-violin shape featuring fine brass-foliate inlay. The back door is inlaid with brass and rosewood and the front door decorated with a goddess riding Pegasus. The top is mounted with a gilt Ariadne statuette and follows down the sides with bronze foliate ormolu embellishments and C-scrolled mounts with the piece terminating in four small Indian heads on scrolled feet. The bottom console is ornamented on the corners with mascarons. The circular ormolu dial is cut in individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters and Arabic 5 min chapters. The original cut steel hands are signed ' HENARD A PARIS' on the center enamel plaque the movement designed with silk suspension and the back plate signed 'HENARD A PARIS. The bracket console is stamped MARCHAND. The bronze stamped with a “C” hallmark. This bracket clock was restored and the movement serviced.
