    Classic mid-eighteenth century Louis XV period serpentine commode with varnished brass-inlay detail on edges and a unique veneer of kingwood and rosewood. Four drawers with original rocaille ormolu ornaments. Handsomely topped with Marbre Rouge De France (Red of France Marble) commonly used in 17th and 18th century. Sign unreadable JME stamp Poinc'on de Jurande circa 1740.
