    The creation of this 19th century First Empire period secretaire is attributed to Jacob Freres Rue Meslée. It is made of flame mahogany and gilt bronze with French polish, keeping its original dark grey Belgium black marble top. It presents throughout decoration with the original ormolu neoclassical motifs and a façade framed by columns. It opens to reveal pigeon holes and drawers and presents three additional locked drawers on the bottom cabinet, with a single drawer on top.

    This secretaire is a very fine piece, with beautiful gilding for the bronze and a beautiful new French polish.

    Excellent condition and wear consistent with age and use.

    Dimensions: 100 cm (width) x 135 cm (height) x 44 cm (depth).
