Product :
Hanae Sabir's work is deeply autobipgraphical and always anchored in contemporary events and issues. She often mixes her paints with materials that people use daily but which often go unnoticed and unvalued (like sugar wax and soap). The resulting substance gives the pictorial matter of her paintings a peculiar texture and more importantly additional layers of symbolism that deepen the impact and interpretative potential of her work.
