It is an elegant and sophisticated piece of furniture with several functions; it is a classic bombe commode as well as a slant-desk and a “two-bodies” (deux-corps) buffet. Two large serpentine drawers allow to open the commode, that stands on beautiful serpentine feet. The writing desk section is located between the upper unit and the lower side of the commode. It has a fold-down top enclosing a section of a set of small drawers. The upper side of the cabinet presents double-paneled doors that open to reveal books or other items. The material is walnut and the technique is hand-carved.

This absolutely unique piece is full of wonderful details that will attract all the attention.

    It includes the original keys.

    Excellent condition.
